Rich Dad Poor Dad2(Kiyosaki, Robert T.)
Edward.L 2024. 12. 13. 09:541. There is no such thing as a stable job.
The idea that 'graduating from school and getting a safe and stable job' only applies to people born before the 1930s.
mobile e-book : 124p
As human life expectancy increases, I think there is no such thing as a stable job as mentioned above.
In the past, people said that living to 60 was considered longevity, but now people in their 60s are just passing by, and I know that the average age in Korea is 83.
Of course, I think it is the same in many other countries.
Most people have difficulty living their lives as office workers until they are 60, so we who have to live our lives after that must find something to do after that.
Of course, if you have a professional job or a business, you can have a job that you can do for the rest of your life, but since they are a minority, ordinary people have to put in even more effort.
I am just now starting my future career as a writer, and I think I can continue to do it even when I get older.
Of course, if I start another business, it could change.
Rather than looking for stability, I think you should find out what you should do in the future.
2. Let's work for my time, not for money.
One of the reasons I was able to learn a lot from my rich dad was because he had plenty of free time to teach me.
mobile e-book: 142p
The life of a rich person that I think is most ideal is someone who works less and has more time for his family.
If I live my life obsessed with money, I don't think I will know where my life is, and I want to spend more time with my children as I watch them grow up.
I want to teach them more things as they grow up, have more experiences, and make more memories.
I think that's why I earn money.
To do that, I also need to achieve financial freedom and become a father who works less but earns enough money.
Robert Kiyosaki's 4 quadrants (E: Salaried worker, S: Self-employed or professional, B: Businessperson, I: Investor) I am currently a salaried worker, and I am working as a blogger and writer with S, and I do not have B, and I invest in stocks with I.
Later, I will try to create cash flow in the B quadrant, and eventually I will go to the S, B, and I areas.
Eventually, the life of a salaried worker will end someday (after age 50), and I will put in more effort to live the life after that.
3. Let's keep failing.
"The most we can learn about ourselves is when we fail.
So don't be afraid of failing.
Because failure is one of the processes on the way to success.
Without failure, there is no success."
mobile e-book : 183p
All products, goods, and services being sold now have become what they are now through repeated failures.
Of course, it is being revised, changed, and improved through continuous failures even now.
If there is no failure, there is no change, and if it is stagnant, it is bound to be eliminated.
The water in the valley continues to move, so it does not rot and various fish live there, but stagnant water rots, smells, and is bound to be crawling with bugs.
I think the same is true for a human being.
The reason I can walk well is because I fell countless times when I was young, and the way I act is the most efficient, excluding many past experiences of failure.
Thinking about something is because I think biasedly based on past experiences of failure.
If you do not fail, you cannot change.
Success is because of infinite failures.
Therefore, we must continue to fail and challenge ourselves.
4. Success lies in a different path from others.
If you want to become rich, you must think independently and autonomously rather than following the crowd.
Mobile e-book: 349p
For example, there are many OTT products that we are currently happily watching, such as YouTube, Netflix, and Coupang Play.
We pay a certain amount of money to those companies every month and enjoy their services.
Most people just enjoy the services and dream of becoming rich without even thinking about providing the services.
Therefore, in order to become rich, you must become a producer who can make a profit while providing services that benefit others.
Bill Gates (Microsoft) provided operating systems and utility software services so that anyone can use computers well.
Jeff Bezos (Amazon) provided an online purchasing platform so that anyone can conveniently purchase from home.
Mark Zuckerberg (Meta) provided a platform so that we can share our current situation anywhere in the world.
Most of the people who became rich in this way provided services to others and became rich with the profits.
I believe that you can become rich if you do not become a crowd that just uses the services but provide your own ideas (that can be helpful to others) independently.
5. Build your own system
I knew that one day I would have to leave my comfortable and safe nest and create my own system.
mobile e-book: 379p
Here, a system means a system that creates a large cash flow diagram with the help of many people, not a professional job that requires a lot of labor.
For example, it could be various services of a company.
The reason we use the Internet so conveniently is because portal sites such as Daum, Google, and Naver provide services that help us find information on the Internet.
The systems of these companies are operated by the power of many people, and if the CEO leaves, they will continue to make money as long as they have this system.
Of course, if the CEO lacks the ability to keep up with trends and create new technologies, they will fail.
I think that operating a large system by borrowing the abilities of many people is an essential part of becoming rich.
6. Don't rely on others (the government)
The public still expects the government to solve all their economic and medical problems. However, this is nothing more than an empty expectation.
mobile e-book: 429p
The government's policies have a great impact on our lives.
However, they do not completely solve our lives.
Policies will be modified and changed according to each politician's interests, and you should keep in mind that you are not included in them.
Specific political parties only seek their own interests, and in fact, very few people think of the people.
That is why I think it is right to believe in your own abilities and build your own system, and to focus on developing yourself rather than wasting time talking about politics.
Even if you talk about various things on the Internet, it will not reach their ears.
I think it would be better to use that time for discussion to further refine yourself and work on living a better life.
7. There is no fair world or country.
Some people think that the world will become fair if the rich share what they have with the poor. Well, no one said the world is fair. And the harder we try to make the world fair, the more we lose our freedom.
mobile e-book: 436p
Each of our circumstances is different, and no two people are the same.
Even if you are born rich, you live with other problems, and even if you are born poor, you live with problems, so we all live with our own problems.
So there is no need to envy the rich, and you should not ignore the poor.
Most of the policies that claim to make the world fair are implemented using our taxes, and soon they are implemented through tax increases.
It would be a big mistake to simply think that this policy will make the world fair.
When the minimum wage was raised, it may have been good for workers at first, but as the hourly wage goes up, companies automatically raise prices to make a profit equivalent to the increased labor cost.
If you complain about high prices after that, you are no different from monkeys who are like monkeys. Don't simply think that your current life will be a little better, but you should anticipate what will happen next and decide whether it is right or not.
8. Everyone has potential.
You have everything you need to succeed financially right now. All you need to bring out your God-given natural ability is your desire, determination, and belief that you have unique talent and genius.
mobile e-book: 547p
Everyone has potential, and each person has their own ability.
I didn't know I had the ability to write, but simply reading books and writing book reviews made writing fun, I wrote a book, and I got my second job.
Each person has their own ability, no matter what they succeed in.
Finding it is the biggest problem in life, and it is the destination you must find.
I hope you look back on your life, experience various things, and find what you are truly good at.
Then I think you will definitely be rewarded.
